The owner bought this hair salon in November 2012 and it has been in operation since 2000. It has been operating from the current premise since the start.  The salon is situated in CBD area. There are a few parking spaces available at the salon but also opposite the street.

What makes this hair salon unique? It specifically caters for mothers!

It has a designated children’s area with a TV & DVD player and a jungle gym with an enclosed garden. This enables mothers to do their hair while the children are entertained.  There are 4 client stations and 2 children stations.  There are 2 lay down basins and a kitchen area.  This salon also does not offer any beauty services, only hair related services.

Mainly Goldwell products are used in the salon and also for retail. The supplier gets paid COD.  The target market is specifically mothers but also women aged 19 to 60 which makes up 80% of the clientele with 5% seniors (over 60). 15% of turnover is generated by 3- 18-year-old’s and being located just opposite the primary school, is well supported by the younger market too.  Sales are recorded on a docket system and each day is started with a float. Most sales are cash (80%) with 20% of sales on CC.  Yoko Machine is in operation.
